We have a knowledgeable and friendly staff with expertise in a number of specialties. Our veterinarians have a special interest in canine and feline medicine, geriatrics and oncology. Our surgeons perform most soft tissue surgeries with an emphasis on orthopedics and advanced dentistry. Our digital radiographs are read by a board-certified radiologist. As a team of veterinarians, we are able to provide comprehensive treatment for a wide variety of both common and rare medical issues for your pet.
A native of Wisconsin, Dr. Turino received his veterinary degree from the University of Minnesota in 2000. After veterinary school, Dr. Turino completed an internship at Rowley Memorial Animal Hospital, a large referral hospital in western Massachusetts. He joined Kenwood Pet Clinic as an associate in July 2002 and became a co-owner in January 2005. Dr. Turino main interests are surgery and advanced dentistry.
Dr. Turino currently lives in St. Paul with his wife, Sarah, two daughters, and their chocolate lab, Tallulah. He is a runner, triathlete, an avid reader and loves to bake.
Dr. Jeffrey Schulman is the son of the clinic's founder, Dr. Joanne Schulman. He joined Kenwood Pet Clinic in 2007. He holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and worked as an engineer for NASA in Houston. In 2007, Dr. Schulman earned his D.V.M. degree from the University of Minnesota. He has a special interest in feline medicine.
Dr. Schulman lives in St. Louis Park with his family; they share their home with one cat, Butt-y. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, gardening, and traveling. In the summer, don't be surprised to see Dr. Schulman at a Twins game or enjoying the nice weather at the Chain of Lakes.
Dr. Prochaska really enjoys life and loves being a veterinarian. Personal and caring relationships with clients and their pets are very important to him, and that is what makes being a veterinarian so fulfilling for him.
Dr. Prochaska is originally from Iowa and received his B.S. degree from the University of Iowa and his D.V.M. degree from Iowa State University. He joined Kenwood Pet Clinic in 1991, and enjoys all aspects of practice including internal medicine, dentistry and surgery. He has experience with advanced dental procedures, including root canals and orthodontics. He also enjoys cardiology and has extensive experience performing echocardiograms. Due to Dr. Prochaska's love of pets and people, being a veterinarian is the perfect calling in life for him.
Dr. Prochaska and his wife Aimee have a daughter, a son, and two great cats, Peanut and Mittens. He has a variety of interests including gardening, skiing, hiking, and fly fishing. In summer, his biggest passion is racing sailboats.
Dr. Jones joined Kenwood Pet Clinic in 2013. She is a Minnesota native who graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 2011. She enjoys all aspects of canine and feline medicine, especially dentistry and internal medicine. Building meaningful relationships with clients and their pets is her first priority.
Dr. Jones currently lives in Minneapolis with her husband, Ryan, son, Henry, two dogs, three cats and one betta fish. She loves riding her bike around the lakes with Henry in tow, as well as crossword puzzles, movies nights and a good cup of coffee.
Dr. Kim O'Callaghan graduated from the University Of Minnesota School Of Veterinary Medicine in 1994. After graduation she worked as an associate veterinarian in St. Paul for several years and then after having children, she worked as a relief veterinarian for 13 years and most recently completed six months at the University of Minnesota in their General Practice service. She especially loves canine athletes and helping clients care for their geriatric four legged family members.
Outside of work Dr. O'Callaghan enjoys activities with her family such as skiing, biking, and hiking. She also volunteers as a sled dog trail veterinarian at races in Minnesota, Michigan, and Maine. She has two dogs, a 10-year old golden retriever named Ruby and a rescued mutt named Jack.
Lori has been a part of Kenwood Pet Clinic since 1989 and her interests include surgery and dentistry. She keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes at the clinic. Lori is responsible for developing and training the staff in patient care protocol.
Lori lives in Minneapolis with her husband, two sons, and two dogs. Outside of work, she enjoys following her sons' sports activities, gardening and reading.
Anne joined Kenwood Pet Clinic in 2005 as our first full-time receptionist. Her career with animals began in high school, working at a pet store called Pet Stuff in Minnetonka.
Anne enjoys connecting with patients and clients, and improving hospital efficiency. Her house is ruled by two cats, Ozone and Babs, who enjoy helping her with yoga by sitting in the middle of her mat. She is also very involved in the local Hip Hop community - dancing and organizing events for the youth.
A Minnesota native, Erin graduated from Concordia College in Moorhead with degrees in Biology and Nutrition. She worked one year as a dietitian, but found that she was drawn to working with animals and pursued a Veterinary Technician degree at Argosy University. Erin has been a veterinary technician for over 10 years. She loves her job and is happy having switched medical fields into veterinary medicine.
Erin lives in Rogers with her husband, Brent, and their two children. They have four cats: Shirley, Ferris, Joy and Fern and three angel cats: Abbey, Summer and Lucey. Erin loves going to the gym, spending time at the lake during the summer and hanging out with family and friends.
Danielle earned her degree from Argosy University and has been working in the veterinary field since 2009. She joined the Kenwood Pet Clinic team in February 2013 and is passionate about keeping pets healthy and helping those in need.
Danielle has studied visual art and likes to knit, make jewelry, draw, paint, and take photographs. She enjoys going to music concerts and events that include art or animals.
Danielle grew up in Green Bay, WI, but feels very much at home living in Minneapolis with her calico cat, Mama.
Kimberly is a 2013 graduate from Argosy University with her degree for veterinary technician. She has been a team member since 2013 and enjoys every minute of work.
Kimberly is originally from Arlington Heights, IL and has been up here since 2011. She enjoys watching sports, especially hockey, football, and baseball with the Chicago Blackhawks, Green Bay Packers and Chicago White Sox as her favorite teams, respectively. She also enjoys reading and going for walks. She has never had a pet, but knows that she will eventually have both cats and dogs.
Camille grew up and still lives in Minneapolis with her husband Steve, and an array of furry and fishy friends. She graduated from Globe College, and has been a veterinary technician since 1999.
In her spare time she enjoys working on furniture and art projects.
I graduated from Argosy University in 2015 with a degree for Veterinary Technology. I have loved animals since I was a little girl. I got my first job as a kennel assistant when I was sixteen years old and have been working with animals ever since.
I have 2 cats - Doug and Lacy and hope to have a dog in the near future. In my spare time I love being outdoors, especially during the summer. I like watching hockey and cheering for my Minnesota Wild!
A native of Superior, WI, April started at Kenwood Pet Clinic as a volunteer in 2002, after 3 years in graduate school. She has worked as an assistant since then. Though she's now part time, she loves working with animals and is continuing to learn all she can about their care.
April's other interests include sciences, hiking and outdoor activities, photography and the captive husbandry and breeding of snakes and tarantulas. She enjoys educating the public on these often misunderstood animals. In her free time, she caters to her 3 cats; Apollo, Gatsby, and Porsche.
At only four months of age, Holly's love for animals became apparent to her family when she came face to face with a dog for the first time. She instantly began giggling with joy. This encounter was the beginning of a deep, life-long connection with animals that would later lead Holly to her work at Kenwood, where she's been since 2004. She loves having a job that allows her to spend time with all of the four-legged patients and their humans.
When Holly isn't working at Kenwood she can be found traveling, fostering puppies for a local rescue and spending time with Nigel, her beloved English Mastiff.
